The beginning

Puppy days

Reward calm handling and lead habits. Provide safe chews, gradual social experiences and rest between short lessons.

Your everyday

Adult life

Continue substantial activity and consistent manners. Supervise children and assess dog or small-pet introductions carefully; compatibility can change with maturity.

Everyday care

Brush daily and remove loose undercoat during seasonal shedding. Use secure fencing that prevents digging out, and adjust activity in heat.

Worth planning for: Prey drive, escape problem-solving and loud howling need practical management.
