The beginning

Puppy days

Use food or play rewards for brief lessons and gradual introductions. Support frequent toilet trips, gentle handling and quiet sleep in a comfortable environment.

Your everyday

Adult life

Keep the adult active with short walks and play, watching comfort rather than pushing endurance. Maintain a cool environment, regular fold care and consistent training.

Everyday care

Brush the short coat weekly and keep wrinkles clean and dry. Offer short daily walks and play in comfortable conditions, with rest as needed.

Worth planning for: Short-faced anatomy can reduce heat and exertion tolerance. Marked breathing noise or effort warrants veterinary assessment, even during ordinary play.
