The beginning

Puppy days

Introduce grooming gently and reward checking back. Give controlled social experiences and brief games with plenty of rest.

Your everyday

Adult life

Keep walks and enrichment regular. Use a lead or secure play space, and supervise introductions to children and other animals.

Everyday care

Brush several times weekly and maintain clipping or hand-stripping. A pet clip often needs professional upkeep every four to six weeks.

Worth planning for: Low shedding does not mean an effortless coat or allergy guarantee.
